CutoverGrid translates technical findings into bounded engineering effort rather than a single unsupported number. The model accounts for repository and service count, dependency depth, native packages, code changes, test gaps, infrastructure work, shared foundations, coordination overhead, validation, rollout, and rollback preparation. Assumptions and exclusions stay visible alongside the range so teams know what could move it.
The same evidence is used to compare viable execution strategies. Phased migration, coordinated cutover, dual runtime, compatibility layers, canary rollout, and blue-green deployment are evaluated against dependency order, change isolation, detection latency, reversibility, team capacity, and operational constraints.
