Capability overview

Built around a verifiable operating model.

Migration work is executed in the systems engineering teams already use, but technical evidence often becomes detached after tickets are created. We are deepening integrations with GitHub, Jira, and Linear so findings, tasks, pull requests, validation results, dependencies, and cutover gates remain synchronized without turning CutoverGrid into another isolated task tracker.

The synchronization model preserves authority boundaries. Workflow tools continue to own team execution fields, while CutoverGrid owns migration evidence, readiness, dependency logic, and gate eligibility. Status changes are interpreted against acceptance criteria: closing an issue does not automatically clear a blocker when the linked repository change or required validation result is missing.

How it works

From source context to operational control.

01

Map

Connect migration tasks, teams, projects, labels, milestones, and repositories.

02

Create

Publish scoped work with evidence links, prerequisites, and acceptance criteria.

03

Observe

Associate branches, pull requests, reviews, builds, and issue-state changes.

04

Reconcile

Update migration status only when workflow and technical evidence agree.

Evidence produced

Every decision remains inspectable.

The capability produces structured evidence that can be reviewed by engineers and reused by downstream planning and verification.

Work identity

External issue, project, owner, milestone, and CutoverGrid task mapping.

Change context

Branch, pull request, commit, review, and deployment relationship.

Validation

Required checks, execution results, and acceptance evidence.

Sync history

Origin, timestamp, actor, conflict, retry, and final reconciliation state.

Operational impact

Why this capability matters.

Teams keep working in familiar tools while migration leadership receives a current, evidence-backed view. Manual status reporting decreases, and a green project board can no longer hide a technically incomplete cutover condition.

Migration control in practice

Connect the evidence to an executable plan.

Start with the repositories, define the target transition, and see the technical and operational work required.
