Observe
Capture the exact value and technical location found in the repository.
Delivered capability · 05
Every material finding connected to the repository artifact, rule, version, component, and decision it supports.

Capability overview
CutoverGrid keeps migration recommendations close to their technical source. A blocker includes the repository and commit, the relevant file or structured configuration path, the observed value, the applicable rule and version, the affected component, severity, confidence, and remediation context. Engineers do not need to accept a score or task whose origin is hidden inside an assessment engine.
Evidence remains connected as work moves downstream. An estimate can expose the findings that contribute effort, a migration task can show the code and rule that made it necessary, and a cutover gate can show the validation result required to close the risk. When evidence changes, CutoverGrid identifies the dependent planning objects that need review rather than treating every decision as isolated text.
How it works
Capture the exact value and technical location found in the repository.
Attach the rule, target-transition context, severity, and confidence.
Map the finding to affected services, estimates, tasks, waves, and gates.
Close the finding only when linked remediation and validation evidence is present.
Evidence produced
The capability produces structured evidence that can be reviewed by engineers and reused by downstream planning and verification.
Repository, commit, file, line, and structured configuration location.
Rule version, observed value, target condition, severity, and confidence.
Affected service, environment, owner, and dependency path.
Change revision, validation run, result, reviewer, and gate status.
Operational impact
Explainable evidence reduces debate and rework. Service owners can reproduce a conclusion, correct a false assumption, or accept an exception with context; migration leaders can understand why cost or readiness changed without reverse-engineering the assessment.
