Capability overview

Built around a verifiable operating model.

Organizations rarely run one migration at a time. We are building a governance layer that connects migration portfolios to the repository-level evidence and execution controls already inside CutoverGrid. Leaders will be able to compare deadline exposure, risk concentration, engineering effort, team capacity, shared blockers, wave progress, and cutover confidence without reducing every program to a manually reported red, amber, or green status.

Governance remains drillable. A portfolio risk can be traced to the migrations, waves, repositories, findings, owners, and evidence that create it. Scenario planning will show how a shared platform delay or team-capacity constraint changes several programs. Completed outcomes will calibrate future effort and risk models so governance improves from actual delivery rather than accumulating static templates.

How it works

From source context to operational control.

01

Aggregate

Combine active migrations, deadlines, waves, owners, effort, and readiness.

02

Detect

Identify shared blockers, capacity collisions, stale evidence, and cutover concentration.

03

Simulate

Compare sequencing, staffing, scope, and deadline scenarios before commitment.

04

Learn

Use completed effort, blockers, incidents, and sequence to recalibrate future plans.

Evidence produced

Every decision remains inspectable.

The capability produces structured evidence that can be reviewed by engineers and reused by downstream planning and verification.

Portfolio scope

Programs, target transitions, repositories, services, owners, and deadlines.

Delivery state

Wave progress, readiness, gate status, actual effort, and unresolved risk.

Shared constraints

Platform dependencies, team capacity, environments, and coordinated cutovers.

Outcome history

Estimated versus actual work, predicted versus observed risk, and lessons applied.

Operational impact

Why this capability matters.

Modernization governance gives leadership a credible control surface without separating them from engineering reality. Decisions about sequence, staffing, and deadlines can be made from current evidence, and teams can explain exactly what must change to improve portfolio confidence.
